R.I.P.: Reg (A.K.A.:PHANTASM's Reggie Bannister)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBjC790sTBU This is very hard news to take(and discuss) as we have lost Reggie Bannister,the iconic star of the PHANTASM films who(via PHANTASM II) became the series' most unlikely hero as he joined Bruce Campbell's Ash in being a mighty defender(/good guy) against the forces of both intergaalctic and supernatural evil,something which is rare in horror cienma(mainly modern horror cinema[where the majority of male actors always portray the bad guys/villains). At his 5'4'' height(the same height as Jack Black and AC/DC's Angus Young),Reggie had an enormous heart in peacefully dealing with the fans as he carried no ego and was very engaging with all of the fans(and everyone that he joyfully engaged with) that made him a lot different from many other celebrities,which helped make him apopularcelebrity amongst filmfans and genre conventions(with Reggie having been the most requested guest at [the sadly departed] Cinema Wasteland). Farewell,Reggie,for you'll be enormously missed by everyone in the horror/genre community and Thank You for being with us all as you brought as much happiness in our lives as we did yours.
